Skinny Chest started as a zine in 1995. Over time, these zines have become thicker and thicker while at the same time literally shrinking in overall format size. Some things such as New Lungs or Early Plots are really more like miniature books than zines.

Skinny Chest books are made to be held and savoured slowly over coffee or a cold beer, then stored in an old wooden box for future reference. The computer monitor is not their true domain. That is why I have chosen not to publish any of the actual work on the site. If you really want it, you gotta get the paper.
